The deepest note ever detected by mankind is in another galaxy!

The deepest note mankind has ever detected is a B♭. That is 57 octaves below middle C! Can you imagine a piano with that many octaves? The sound is made by inflating plasma bubbles in the center of the Perseus Cluster.
The Perseus Cluster or Abell 426, like it's name says, it’s a cluster of galaxies in the constellation Perseus. It is considered one of the most massive objects in the whole universe!

Dr. Andrew Fabian discovered a huge black hole in this galaxy and despite the fact that this galaxy is 250 million light years from the earth, it emits Cosmic B flat sounds which appears as pressure waves rolling and spreading as a result of outbursts from this black hole!

It seems like if music was to be created at Perseus Cluster, a whole kind of new music genres could be created.

Discovered underwater forests 50,000 years old

Group of divers found in the Gulf of Mexico unspoiled, old underwater forest more than 50,000 years.

According to the newspaper "The Huffington Post" forest covers about 0.8 square kilometers and is 16 kilometers from the coast states, Alaska, at a depth of 18 meters.

Ancient forest are remarkably preserved cypress swamp, now the habitat of various species of fish, crabs, sea sasa and other marine animals - an underwater paradise.

The leader of the divers Ben Raines was involved in the discovery and other professionals like Grant Hurley, experts for the analysis of tree rings from the University of Southern Mississippi, which is using the carbon isotope found a 52,000 year old forest.

Scientists from Alabama authorities requested permission to conduct more analysis to find out how the forest is managed to survive such a long period.

It is known that wetlands CEPRES can live more than 1,300 years.

"Scientific facts" that are total nonsense

Pushing head in the sand like an ostrich. How many times in your life have you heard this saying? Unless someone did not explain what it is, it is not surprising if, even today think that this big bird indeed react to fear as the saying goes.

"Business insider" has collected quite a few myths that we take for granted as scientific facts. The reason for their occurrence is an exaggeration of someone's salary, fears, and in some cases even turning down some scientific theory.

Here's "scientific" myths that we believe in:

- Children do not become hyperactive from sugar. This is confirmed by the number of tests in which the children were given drinks with or without sugar.
- Ostriches do not stick their head in the sand at all. When in danger, waving wings or play dead.
- You will hardly find out anything if you blow your nose and look at the color of the mucus on the tissue. - Appearance discharge varies from clear and fluid lines, the yellow-green with an array of various diseases. So the diagnosis on the basis that you can not determine.
- Hair and fingernails continue to grow after death. What actually happens is equally interesting - the skin is reduced.

- Lightning never strikes the same place. Oh yes, lightning strikes the same place twice or more.
- A coin thrown from the top of the Empire State Building will not kill the man walking on the sidewalk below. Penny in this case can reach the speed of 80 kilometers per hour, which is not fast enough to get you killed.

- Being blind as a bat does not mean being blind. All bats are can see, although many of them use echolocation to navigate. It works like sonar.
- Cracking knuckles will not get arthritis. This bone disease may be caused by other factors such as age, injury, obesity and genetics.
- It is not true that people are born with a finite number of brain cells - they are produce in process of neurogenesis in several brain regions in adulthood.
- Memory of a goldfish is actually totally OK. They can remember for months, not just a few seconds as most people think.
- Dogs and cats can see not just black and white, but they see blue and green.

- Most educated people in the early Middle Ages knew that the earth was round and not flat.
- There is no photographic memory, there is only people who remember well. No one can remember so much visual information as a camera.
- Microwave does not cause cancer. Only some types of radiation causing it. Solar radiation can cause melanoma.
- Your hair will be thicker by shaving. It's a visual impression, because after shaving hair is cut straight and not tapering towards the top like after plucking. Therefore sharper.
- Stomach does not need seven years to digest gum. Stomach does not digest, but gum need a few hours to a normal body ejected through the digestive tract.

There is an area in Canada with less gravity than the rest of the Earth!

In the 1960s, scientists began to chart Earth’s gravitational fields. You would expect that gravity be the same across the world. It’s not like you feel incredibly heavy in the United States while you practically float around in South America. You always feel the same gravitational pull.

However, they found that gravity actually did vary. In Canada, there are certain areas with less gravity than normal. The Hudson Bay, for example, is “missing” gravity.

There are two theories as to why this may be true. One theory cites convection as the cause. Convection pulls the Earth’s plates downward, which decreases the mass in that area and decreases the gravity. The other theory cites the Laurentide Ice Sheet as the cause. The Ice Sheet melted 10,000 years ago and left a huge indent in the Earth, which could mess with the gravity.

Physicists have created a "gun" that shoots antimatter

Scientists in the U.S. have created the accelerator, which serves as a source of jet particles of antimatter - a positron. The specificity of anti-matter gun is, its compactness conditioning can easily be placed on an ordinary table. Jet that produces "gun" looks like a plasma, emitted by neutron stars and black holes. Scientists believe that this table accelerator will enable the laboratory investigating the properties of these currents.

Brits test a new way of creating a child with three parents

Britain would allow the controversial technique of creating children using DNA of three people, a move that could help couples make their children do not inherit the rare genetic disease.

New technology will help women with "deficient" mitochondria that the children do not inheret defects that can result in diseases such as muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, heart problems, or mental retardation. One in 200 children are born each year in the UK with mitochondrial disorder.

For women with low mitochondria, scientists would take a healthy genetic material from the egg or emriona. Then he was transferred to the donor egg - an embryo that has healthy mitochondria, but the rest of the core DNA was removed. Thus, the fertilized embryo would be inserted into the womb of the mother.

Some groups opposed to artificial reproduction and believe that the destruction of eggs is immoral.

British tabloids attacked procedure which was first launched in 2008. and described as creating children three parents - mother, father and donors. For the claim that scientists say is incorrect because the amount of DNA from the egg donor insignificant.

"Scientists have developed a new procedure that could stop the transmission of these diseases," said chief medical officer in the UK, Dr Sally Davies.

A similar study done in the United States.

If British MPs agree, Britain could become the first country in the world where such a technique would use for making children. Experts say the procedure is applied to only a dozen women a year.

There is a planet that is made up of burning ice!

Gliese 436 B is my new favourite planet. Not because of it’s catchy name, but because of one of the most unusual properties found anywhere in our solar system. Gliese 436 B is a Neptune sized ice world, yet orbits its star at a very toasty 4.3 million miles. That’s almost fifteen times closer to its star than Mercury is to the sun. And yet 436 B stays completely frozen. It is literally an ice cube on fire. The surface on Gliese 436 B stays at a constant temperature because it is so close to its star, and that temperature is a whopping 439 °C. Given that water boils at 100 °C, the presence of ice should be an impossibility. Except its not really ice, at least not in the classical sense. It’s a phenomenon knows as hot ice or ice-ten. It would look much like the ice we have here on Earth, but if you were to and pick some up, you would need a new hand.

The vast amounts of water that make up the planet are kept in a solid state by gravity pulling the water molecules towards the planets core. This means that even the searing surface temperatures aren’t enough to evaporate the water away from the planet, instead the water molecules are kept densely packed together pulled towards the core. Gliese 436 B probably started out life as a gas giant, similar to Jupiter, orbiting a star much like our sun. That star has since entered its final stage and has exploded in size to become a Red Giant. Red Giants are much cooler than main sequence stars, with a surface temperature of around 4,500 °C. The sun will become a red giant in an estimated 5 billion years time, possibly destroying the Earth in the process. It seems Gliese 436 B wasn’t destroyed by this event as it was far enough away, but has had it’s entire atmosphere burned off leaving just a tiny ice cube floating around a dying star. Once every two and half days. On fire.
