Japanese computer "K" the most powerful in the world

Japanese computer "K" was listed in 500 most powerful supercomputers in the world, brought a French electronic media. It is a Japanese computer RIKEN Research Center of the eight petaflops (several million billion operations per second).

The computer, which is produced by "Fujitsu", uses 68,544 units of the central SPARC64 VIIIfx each of which contains eight processors. Power PC "K" is equal to the force for five devices that follow him on the list.

The top 10 most powerful computers, in addition to computer "K", and found five American system, one Japanese, two from the People's Republic of China and one from France.
